Siren Nation Call for Artists!
What Comes After Yes: A Group show of women artists from the Pacific Northwest.
Siren Nation invites women artists in the Pacific Northwest to enter work to be shown in our November exhibition, entitled “What Comes After Yes.” The theme of this exhibition is open to broad interpretation and intended to celebrate the bold decision to become a working artist.
Forty selected works will be shown at the Albina Press, 5012 SE Hawthorne Blvd during the month of November 2011.
Show opens Thursday, November 3th at the Albina Press on SE Hawthorne Blvd in Portland, Oregon. This show is part of The Siren Nation Women’s Music and Arts Festival.
The call is open to all photographic and artistic media, 2D, wired for hanging. The work will be displayed in a community art situation, so please exercise discretion in the areas of sexuality and violence.
Selections will be juried by committee. All artists receive 80% of the value of all art sold. The venue takes 20 % commission.

We may be able to take more than one piece from each artist depending on space and interest in this show. All submissions must be received by October 1, 2011. All art must ready to hang and received by October 28, 2011.

2011 Siren Nation Women’s Music and Arts Festival Art and Craft Sale Application (Call For Vendors)
When: Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 11:00am to 5:00pm
Where: McMenamin’s Kennedy School
What: An art and craft sale showcasing women artisans from the Northwest as part of the 2011 Siren Nation Women’s Music and Arts Festival.
Cost: $30 for a 4ft table
